How do I add a new subscription?

You can add subscriptions from either the Overview or Subscriptions page. Click the “Track” button at the top right corner, fill in the details (name, cost, billing cycle, start date, currency, and tags), and click Save. Your new subscription will appear in the Subscriptions table and reports automatically.

Can I edit a subscription after adding it?

Yes. You can edit any subscription by clicking its row in the Subscriptions table. From there, you can change the name, tags, or update its history (for example, when the price or next payment date changes).

How can I cancel or delete a subscription?

Open the subscription from the Subscriptions table. In the history drawer, choose Cancel Subscription, select a cancellation date, and confirm. To delete it completely, press the (more) button and select Delete Subscription. Canceled subscriptions can be reactivated later, while deleted ones are permanently removed.

What are tags and how do I use them?

Tags help you organize your subscriptions by category (for example, Business, Personal, or Marketing). You can add tags when creating or editing a subscription. Tags make it easier to filter and analyze your costs in reports.

How are reports calculated?

Reports such as Monthly Costs, Subscription Count, and Spending Over Time are generated based on your active subscriptions and their payment dates. You can filter reports by currency, year, or tags for more specific insights.

How do reminders work?

You can configure reminders in Profile → Preferences → Reminder Settings. Set the time of day and lead time (for example, 1, 3, or 7 days before a payment). Once saved, reminders are applied to all active subscriptions automatically. If no settings are configured, Subtrakr will not send reminders.

How do I log in to Subtrakr?

Subtrakr does not use passwords. You can log in using one of the following methods:
  • Google Authentication – Sign in securely with your Google account.
  • Email Login Link – Enter your email address, and Subtrakr will send you a one-time login link. Click the link in your inbox to access your account.
This passwordless approach keeps your account secure and simple to access.

Can I export my data?

Not yet. The export feature is planned for a future release and will allow you to download your subscription data in CSV format. For now, data can only be viewed within the app.

What happens if I delete my account?

When you delete your account, all your data — including subscriptions, reports, and reminders — is permanently removed and cannot be recovered. You can delete your account from Account Settings → Data Management → Delete Account.

Is Subtrakr free to use?

Subtrakr offers a free plan that includes all core features for tracking and managing subscriptions. Additional premium features may be introduced in the future.
