How do I add a new subscription?
You can add subscriptions from the overview or subscriptions page, and from most other pages using + Track. Click + Track to open the Track a new subscription form. It has two steps:- Subscription – Name, tags, and optional notes
- Pricing – Price, subscribed-on date, and billing cycle
Can I edit a subscription after adding it?
Yes. Click a subscription row in the subscriptions table to open the subscription drawer.- On the Overview tab, you can update tags and notes, and review details such as status, billing cycle, current price, next payment, and total to date.
- On the Pricing tab, you can update the price, review pricing history, and correct past pricing records.
How can I cancel or delete a subscription?
Open the subscription from the subscriptions table. To cancel, click the cancel button in the top-right corner of the drawer, set the Unsubscribed on date, and click Yes, it’s canceled. Canceled subscriptions move to the Canceled subscriptions section below the active table. You can reactivate them later from the drawer. To delete completely, open the Delete tab, click Delete subscription, then confirm with Yes, delete my subscription in the dialog. Deleted subscriptions are permanently removed along with their history, reminders, and report data.What are tags and how do I use them?
Tags help you organize your subscriptions by category (for example, business, personal, or marketing). You can add tags when tracking a new subscription or on the Overview tab when editing an existing one. Tags make it easier to filter subscriptions and analyze costs in reports.How do filters work?
Use the filter button in the top-right corner to show or hide the filter panel on most pages (except Reminders). Apply one or more tags to narrow what you see, then save combinations as named filters. You can select saved filters, update them with Save filter, save new ones with Save filter as…, or delete filters you no longer need.How are reports calculated?
Reports are generated based on your active subscriptions and their payment dates in your current Space currency. Available reports include monthly costs, subscription count, subscription spending over time, top subscriptions by cost, and tag distribution. Select a year at the top right and filter by tags for more specific insights.What is a Space?
A Space is a container for your recurring expenses, organized around a purpose, project, or team. You can create multiple Spaces to keep subscriptions separated by context (for example, personal, household, or a business team). If you had existing accounts, they were automatically renamed to Spaces. Your data and subscriptions remain unchanged.How does currency handling work?
Currency is configured at the Space level, not per subscription. Open Settings while in the Space you want to update, then set the Currency field on the space settings page and click Save. All subscriptions in that Space use the same currency for totals and reporting. If you need to track multiple currencies, create separate Spaces with one currency per Space.How do reminders work?
Open Reminder in the sidebar, then Reminder preferences (top right) to enable reminders for your Space and set how many days before each renewal you want to be notified. Those settings apply to every subscription in the Space automatically. You can also review upcoming and sent reminders on the reminders page. If reminders are not enabled, Subtrakr will not send notifications.How do I log in to Subtrakr?
Subtrakr does not use passwords. You can log in using one of the following methods:- Google authentication – Sign in securely with your Google account.
- Email login link – Enter your email address, and Subtrakr will send you a one-time login link. Click the link in your inbox to access your account.
